TRANSITION PROBABILITY 2)
← Back
The probability of a shift from one state to any other possible one between elements which are at least in partly random interaction in a system.
This type of sequential changes is characteristic of Markovian systems and can be represented by a matrix.
It can be observed in ASHBY's homeostat, and is subjacent in artificial life automata.
