TIME (Access) 1)
← Back
The lapse of time needed to activate some process, or elicit some response in a system.
Access time is very different, according to the process involved, it is related to the speed of the transmission of commands.
It can sometimes seriously limit the efficiency of the system, but it must anyhow always be taken into account.
