THROUGHPUT 2)
← Back
That part of the inputs which is transformed by the system's activity into outputs.
The specificity of throughputs depends on the nature of the system. Throughput is a quantitative measure of the efficiency or productivity of the system. However, excessive throughputs, when the internal need for maintenance of the system is not covered, may lead to its collapse.
