THERMODYNAMICS (Third Law of) 1)5)
← Back
"All processes slow down as they operate closer to the thermodynamic equilibrium making it difficult to reach that equilibrium in practice".
K. KRIPPENDORFF, who thus states this law, writes that it is also known as the "asymptotic law" (1986, p.76). The concept makes sense, but its relations with thermodynamics in general are not clearly explicited.
