SYSTEM (Nondeterminisitic) 2)
← Back
A system in which "the states of the generated variables… are not determined uniquely by the states of the generating variables" (G. KLIR, 1991, p.56).
KLIR adds: "Instead, they are generated with some uncertainty, which may, for example, be expressed in terms of conditional probabilities… called behavioral probabilities" (Ibid).
This is the case for ergodic systems and, possibly for chaotic ones.
