SCALE GRADIENT 2)
← Back
"The continuum of structures which are seen by an observer who continuously changes the size of his observation window" (T.F.H. ALLEN & T.B. STARR, 1982, p.277).
ALLEN and STARR comment: "A disjunction in a scale gradient occurs when very little if any of the substance in the system under investigation is held in configurations with endogenous cycling times which are simply in tune with the observation window in question" (Ibid).
