NET 2)
← Back
A structure including a number of elements and the interconnections among these elements.
Any net includes a limited number of elements and of interconections as permitted by the existing constraints.
It distinguishes itself from its environment by the great number of its internal interconnections in comparison to the quite more reduced number of its external connections. It may become integrated in a hypernet. In that case, it is sometimes called a "subnet".
The elements in the net take their decisions simultaneously according to what they know about the global state of the net at that moment.
