ISOCHRONIC (or isochronal, or isochronous) 2)
← Back
Character of the propagation of effects of some event which progresses permanently at the same velocity in all directions.
This condition is in practice very exceptional.
In fact, the very different environmental conditions may easily slow down or accelerate propagation in some directions and during some time.
This anisochronic propagation produces time-lags effects and limits the intemal coherence of any system, as well as its synchronization with environmental conditions.
