S. BRIER writes: "The system does not receive objective information from outside as a stimulus to which it responds. Instead its organization is perturbed by some things happening in the surroundings and its "answer" is an internal adjustment to maintain its organization. It is reacting to its own internal network. Of course. human beings are unavoidedly "somewhat" solipsistic. It must be the only condition for maintaining identity within a range of adaptive change
