FUZZY CONDITIONAL STATEMENTS 5)
← Back
L.A. ZADEH explains how fuzzy variables can be described through fuzzy conditional statements: "In particular, if x and y are linguistic variables, the conditional statements describing the dependence of y upon x might read (the following italized words represent the values of fuzzy variables):
"IF x is small then y is very large
if x is not very small then y is very very large
if x is not small and not large then y is not very large and so forth" (1973b, p.29).
