FREEZING EFFECT 1)2)
A near synonym for "Jamming transition".
M. BUCHANAN observes, in relation to traffic jams: "At (some) point, the cars and lorries begin to roll down the road in a solid mass, like molecules locked in a crystal" (2000, p.31).
Freezing effects seem thus to lead to KAUFFMAN's frozen cores. A better connexion between both models should be considered.
