ENVIRONMENT (Benign) 1)
← Back
An environment whose activity does not force the system out of its stability range.
This notion has been proposed by R.N. ADAMS (1988, p.60). In a benign environment, the basic conditions for the sustainability of the system's processes and global homeostasis are always present.
