ENTAILMENT MESH 1)3)
← Back
The internal structure of a field of knowledge.
According to G. PASK, as quoted by R. GLANVILLE in "Beyond the boundaries" (1979), this type of structure is circular. It is however not static. For example, EINSTEIN's relativity embeds Newtonian mechanics.
Knowledge is acquired and becomes structured within such entailment meshes. Even something as basic as learning to walk implies the structuration of an entailment mesh (R. GLANVILLE, 1978 a)
