This expression has been coined by G. BATESON, who admitted that: "Perhaps 'epistemology' is only another word for the study of the ecology of mind" (1973, p.372).
It could however something more specific, as there are no two identical "minds" (i.e. brain network organization), while epistemology pretends to establish general rules for validation of knowledge.
