DISERGY 2)
← Back
A combination of effects that produces unsustainable or destructive results.
This is the contrary of synergy.
The possibility of disergies should be seriously researched and carefully watched, particularly in human systems, which are frequently managed in irreflexive and imprudent ways.
This neologism has been introduced by Rafael RODRIGUEZ DELGADO (1997, p.72) in a slightly different form ("Disenergy"). "Disergy" has been adapted here as more consonant with "Synergy".
