DIFFUSION 2)
← Back
Progressive expansion of some class of elements from a high concentration zone to adjacent available and suitable space in their environment.
In many cases, diffusion leads to the shaping of dependent or independent new clusters or colonies of the elements. Diffusion produces a decrease of the local concentrations of the elements, but can be followed by a hightened reproduction rate of the same.
