DIALECTICS 1)3)
← Back
It is significant to know that this word has been directly transposed from the greek language, where "dialektos" is a "Iektos"(saying) from one to another, "dia-", i.e. a con-versation.
Its original and basically semantic and psychological meaning became much ignored or obscured, first by its use in philosophy, and later on by its association with marxism. It thus acquired in the mind of many an ideological taint, that should better remain clearly distinct from its prior meaning.
Because of its significance as a basic relationship, it should nevertheless be considered one of the foundational notions in systemics.
