CONATION 2)3)
← Back
The aspect of mental process, or behavior directed toward action or change(Amer.Her.Dict., p. 276)
Conation derives from "conatus", latin word for attempt, effort, endeavor.
Conation behavior is related to impulses and desires, but translates these to volition and intentional action.
It seems to imply a coordination between different levels of the central nervous system.
