Geometrical representations of numbers and their arithmetic relations.
Chryzodes have been introduced by J.P. SONNTAG (1994, p. 373-378). Chryzodes are graphical mappings in two dimensions of series of numbers obtained by arithmetic operations (addition, substraction, multiplication, etc.)
The mapping is done within a graduated circle and produces what the author calls a "cybernetic of forms". A very high level of complexity emerges in the figures.
SONNTAG observes that chryzodes are not fractals. Their deeper meaning and possible uses remain unclear, but they are curious and attractive.
